A helicopter pilot in Kazakhstan stopped traffic when he landed the $14-million aircraft in the middle of the road. The helicopter wasn't suffering from any mechanical problems, the pilot was just lost. As the trucks came to a stop, the pilot stepped out of the Mi-8 gunship and approached one of the stopped trucks to ask for directions.

According to 9 News the shocked truck drivers could not believe what just happened and wondered "how the hell can you get lost in the steppe?"

The Kazakhstan Ministry of Defence said the pilots were on a routine training mission and were "intentionally sent out without an idea of their location and were challenged to determine where they were."
