Ozzy Osbourne's Condition Improving After Pneumonia Scare

It was only a few days ago that Ozzy Osbourne's son Jack reported that his dad was doing "much better," but this weekend has been a rollercoaster for the iconic front man and his family.

Ozzy has been struggling with a flu which turned into bronchitis. On Saturday, news broke that Ozzy had been rushed to intensive care when his doctor's worried he was developing "pneumonia," reported The Sun.

Fortunately, by Sunday evening, the prognosis was much better and Ozzy was reportedly back in his own room at a Los Angeles hospital.

"Ozzy's a fighter, and is getting better day by day," a source told The Sun. "The worst is over, he's smiling again, and he can't wait to get back on stage."

The Black Sabbath singer and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is expected to be sent home later this week.

Ozzy postponed the start of the U.K. and European leg of his No More Tours 2 tour last month, before announcing that because of his illness — and due to concerns of it leading to pneumonia — he would have to move the entire tour back to the fall.

In October, Ozzy was hospitalized for over a week and underwent several surgeries on a serious staph infection in his hand. He had to postpone the last few shows of his U.S. tour to this summer.

Ozzy last performed at a New Years Eve version of Ozzfest at the Forum in L.A.

After the latest round of concert postponements, Ozzy's next scheduled show is March 9 in Sydney, Australia.
