John Fogerty To Celebrate New Album With iHeartRadio ICONS Special

John Fogerty is releasing his brand new album, Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival years (John's Version), and to celebrate, he is giving fans a special iHeartRadio ICONS performance on Friday, August 22.

During his iHeartRadio ICONS encore presentation, Fogerty sits down with iHeartRadio's Jim Kerr for an in-depth conversation reflecting on his major milestone of new album, returning to perform his classic songs onstage, his relationship with his brother and former bandmates, and more. Fans will also hear music featuring performances from an exclusive concert recorded live last fall for iHeartRadio at Red Rocks in Colorado.

This new album, which features re-recorded versions of his classic songs, is a major achievement for Fogerty. For the first time in his career, he fully owns the rights to his groundbreaking Creedence Clearwater Revival catalog.

"For most of my life I did not own the songs I had written," says Fogerty. "Getting them back changes everything. Legacy is my way of celebrating that—of playing these songs on my terms, with the people I love."

The 20-track album features newly recorded versions of Fogerty’s most beloved songs including "Up Around The Bend," "Have You Seen The Rain," "Lodi," "Long As I Can See The Light," "Travelin’ Band," and so many more.

Fans can tune in to iHeartRadio ICONS with John Fogerty on Friday, August 22nd at 12pm ET and 7pm ET on iHeartRadio's Deep Cuts Station.

Fogerty will be hitting the stage at this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 19th and 20th. Fans can tune in to the annual two-day mega music event as the festival will be broadcast live each night via iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed each night exclusively to all Hulu subscribers.
