Kevin O'hara Colite Technologies

Kevin O’Hara President & CEO Colite Technologies Kevin O’Hara has over 30 years in the global electric power industry. He currently serves as the President, CEO and board member for Colite Technologies, a sustainable energy company he co-founded in 2017. The company offers a range of energy efficiency and distributed renewable energy centric solutions. From 2014 to 2016 he served as EVP of Strategy, Sales and Marketing for Advanced Control Systems (ACS), a company focused on electric transmission and distribution grid management, helping rebuild those functions after being acquired by a private equity firm. From 2003 through 2014, he led a team that created and aggressively grew the North American Smart Grid Services unit within Siemens. The portfolio included smart metering and communication services, network modeling and data management software products, consulting and training, and all asset lifecycle management services for Siemens’ equipment supplied to the North American T&D markets. Prior to that Mr. O’Hara was responsible for managing the strategic marketing efforts for Steam Turbine/Generator Services within Siemens Power Generation worldwide. In that role, he led a global team focused on strategic planning, business analysis, market research, and global service center development. He joined Westinghouse Power Gen in 1990 and till late 1997 held positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing. In 1997, he joined Navigant Consulting as a Sr. Consultant in the Utilities Practice. While at Navigant, his experience grew to include generation valuation, transmission and distribution system reliability, and power market modeling. He rejoined Siemens Power Generation in 1999 to support the global integration of the Westinghouse Power Gen Services business within Siemens. Mr. O’Hara received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. He was a founding board member of the Research Triangle Clean Tech Cluster and served on the board of Utilimetrics. He and his wife, Rebekah, reside in Columbia, SC
