Mark and Leigh Ann Craddock have served as Officers in The Salvation Army for 29 years. They have served together in Ada, OK, Ponca City, OK, Sand Springs, OK, Fayetteville, AR, Irving, TX, Dallas Temple, TX, as Divisional Secretaries for Human Resources and Property in Maryland & West Virginia, and Wilmington, NC. Mark and Leigh Ann were appointed to Columbia, SC effective June 27, 2021.
While assigned to The Salvation Army of the Midlands, Majors Craddock continue to focus on implementing a comprehensive strategy to address housing security for low-income families, access to nutrition, and youth education opportunity development. The realization of such strategies through the creation of strategic partnerships helps provide Midland families with hope and stability that crossover into economic, education, and social success.
Mark and Leigh Ann have four boys, Johnathan (33), Mark Erik (28), Coleman (17), and Caleb (14). Johnathan is married to Sarah and were commissioned as Salvation Army Officers in June, 2017, and appointed to Springdale, AR. Mark Erik was commissioned as a Salvation Army Officer in June 2019, and appointed to Lynchburg, VA. Mark and Leigh Ann have three grandsons, Keezie, Theo, and Bo.
Mark married his high school sweetheart, Leigh Ann, in 1987, and graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelors degree in Music Education. Leigh Ann graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelors degree in Family Studies and is currently pursuing her Masters in Divinity.
In his spare time, when he has spare time, Mark enjoys reading, American History, Jazz, and playing the cornet. Leigh Ann enjoys scrapbooking, Facebooking, shopping, and creating endless “honey do” lists for Mark.
